Coffee, which was transported to Europe by Venetian merchants in the 17th century, spread to the continent in a short time. As a result of European colonization in America, Asia and Africa, coffee plantations were established in various parts of the world, and coffee became a widely consumed beverage in the world. Today, coffee is mainly cultivated in tropical climates and altitudes, especially in Brazil, Vietnam and Colombia.
